Artist Jenny-Jinya is making people cry. For a damn good cause.

Jenny-Jinya is a freelance illustrator and comic artist and she says she's "breaking hearts for a good cause."
Well, that certainly would be the case, since I shared one of her comics on Facebook and my entire friends list starting bawling.
On her website, she introduces herself as Jen and explains she held her first exhibition when she was just sweet 16. She is from Germany and has studied in Melbourne, Australia.
Jen's Facebook page is full of sketches and comics featuring the Grim Reaper. Death and the beauty of mortality seem to be a recurring theme. She uses them to reach her audience and help spur compassion and empathy for vulnerable animals and wildlife. She features a comic about a seagull who can't find food for her baby, one about a shelter cat passed over by visitors, and one about the bushfires in Australia. At the end of these comics, she offers resources for her viewers to help. In her own artistic way, she's doing what we are striving to do at Witches Healing the Earth.
I summoned the courage to send her a message to ask if it would be okay to feature some of her artwork on our website, given we have similar passions in environmentalism. I explained that, as a volunteer-only organization with a mission to heal the earth, we would be able to offer links to her website and social media in return.
