World Environment Day 2022: Beat Plastic Pollution
Every year on June 5, United Nations runs an awareness holiday called World Environment Day (also sometimes known as Eco Day or Environment Day).
Each year has a theme, and the theme for 2022 is Beat Plastic Pollution. Members of Witches Healing the Earth are invited to participate in this as a synchronized, intentional event for earth and ecological healing.
To Participate:
Purchase a free ticket at the event page for this event.
Dedicate at least 1 hour of your day on June 5 to cleaning up plastic litter around your community.
Take pictures or videos of your efforts and post them to the Witches Healing the Earth group on the members area of the website.
Post pictures/videos to Instagram and tag @witcheshealingtheearth and use the hashtag #OnlyOneEarth to show the difference we've made together.
Witches Healing the Earth has registered our globally synchronized volunteer event with the UN Environment Programme hosting this awareness day. Our numbers will contribute to the UN's count toward Earth Actions on this day, so let's do our best!
