THE WORK WE DO

2022 SCOTUS Roe v. Wade Ruling

On June 24, 2022, the United States Supreme Court ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade, which provided people a federally protected right to access to safe pregnancy termination services. WHE supports a person's right to choose when it comes to pregnancy and their body and health, understanding that those intimate and difficult conversations must happen between the pregnant person and their doctor. WHE also understands the implications this repeal has on gay rights, other reproductive rights such as contraception, and Black and POC rights.

Australia Bushfires

The 2019-2020 Australia bushfires were unprecedented in many ways, displacing people and wildlife. The bushfires, not uncommon in Australia, were likely started by lightning and climate change increased the risk by 30%, studies have shown. WHE supported in solidarity by crowd-funding to vetted charities aiding the Australia bushfire crises and well as synchronized rituals and writing legislators to enforce support for progressive climate bills.

Black Lives Matter

During the 2020 US protests and riots sparked by the death of George Floyd and many other Black victims of police brutality, WHE cast its support by engaging in peaceful protests in solidarity with Black individuals, by casting protective magic for protestors, by loud calls to action from friends, families, and representatives, and by elevating Black voices. WHE continues to stand in solidarity with our Black siblings and against white supremacy and institutionalized and systemic racism in the United States and other countries.

Syrian Humanitarian Crisis

In 2011, civil unrest in Syria began with peaceful protests against the Syrian government, particularly against President Bashar al-Assad. The calls for Assad's removal were violently suppressed, leading to an armed conflict and brutal war that exists today. WHE supports the Syrian people through crowd-funding donations through vetted charitable organizations as well as mass meditations and synchronized rituals for peace.
